Begun in 1937, the congregation and ministers of Christ Lutheran have provided faithful witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Lutheran tradition with community service and fellowship activities through several generations.
Current activities are regular services of praise and prayer on Sundays at 9 a.m. (Holy Eucharist). Various other activities happen as announced.
The congregation's Pastor, Rev. Dr. Norman F. David is available to any who need pastoral help or assistance, and is happy to provide leadership for weddings, funerals, Baptisms and other occasions. Our Nursery School
and Infant/Toddler Daycare Center
are two programs for which we are humbly proud and thankful to God. The Nursery School, now in its 54th consecutive year, enjoys excellent staff and spirit and serves over 35 children ages 3 to 5 per day. The upstairs of the church building has undergone major renovations to open the Christ Lutheran Infant/Toddler Daycare Center, which serves up to 18 children ages 1 month to 3 years.
In addition the church building is home to four other groups: The Bulgarian Christian Orthodox Congregation of Sveta Petka
(St. Petka) worships Sundays at 10:30a.m, The Korean Full Gospel Christian Fellowship
has worship and a fellowship mean on Sundays from noon to 3p.m. The Bulgarian Christian Saturday School
meets Saturdays from 2 to 6p.m. and violin teacher Maija Teigen holds sessions for her students Mondays from 2 to 7p.m.
